Veggie Notes and Recipe links:
Greens are unwashed this week – please wash prior to use
Savoy Cabbage – tender leaves, cooks faster than regular green cabbage; use in soups, rolls, slaw, roasted steaks or quartered, simple sauté
Carrots – not your average store bought carrot! These may be smaller but deliciously sweet and bursting with carrot flavor. So yummy, you might just eat all of them raw just give them a scrub. These smaller carrots have thinner skin. Can also be added to soups and roasted veggies.
Purple Daikon Radish – salads, slaw, thin slice raw, shredded onto salads, stir fry, pickled, kimchi, roasted, Daikon Au Gratin, Purple Daikon Radish Salad – scroll down
Kale – salads, added chopped to soups or mashed potato, pesto, Greens & Beans, quick sauté with garlic
5-Minute Stir Fry Sauce – PRINTABLE PDF – I use some variation of this at least once a week! Scroll down

1. Keep Them Out Of The Sunlight (But Not Out Of Sight).
2. Make Sure They Still Have Airflow
3. Don’t Store Them Next To Your Onions
4. Avoid Warm Spots
