Why do we have CSA renewal so early? Our small farm incurs tens of thousands of dollars in costs each season. We need these upfront dollars to purchase supplies over the winter, cover operating expenses, and start the season in March. As many of you know, the CSA is our only farm income. Your membership supplies our funding to continue. Without your commitment to our farm for the next growing season, we would not be able to continue. Your early membership commitment also helps us to plan our planting and harvest schedule.

2025 CSA Extension: With our regular season CSA funds depleted, we offer the CSA Extension Share as a way to raise some funds to get us through winter for our personal expenses. We know you have been taking home full CSA bags and sometimes get overwhelmed. However, many of these crops can be stored for months. Please consider joining the CSA Extension and enjoy veggies to eat over the winter. limited to 30 shares –  $150

Delivery Dates:
Tuesday: November 4,11,18, Skip 1 week for Thanksgiving, December 2

From the field

We have been making progress on the high tunnel construction. We are still working on completing the end walls. Once that is complete, we can cover it with the plastic. We will be planting garlic over the next few weeks and we will harvest it in July 2026.

Veggie quick tips:

Beets – ideas in the vegetable directory; small beets do not need to be peeled but scrubbed; how to boil beets, roasted, braised

Kale – salads, added chopped to soups or mashed potato, pesto, quick sauté with garlic
