Thank you to everyone who already renewed for 2026!
CSA renewal is off to a great start. It is a great feeling knowing that so many of you continue to support our farm and enjoy fresh veggies.

The 2026 season is limited – 18 Shares remaining
Step 1:
Complete your 2026 membership form
Step 2: Pay your deposit or pay in full to confirm your commitment for 2026 and lock in current pricing

New members can also join at this time! Don’t keep our CSA a secret. Tell your friends and co-workers how they can benefit from joining our CSA.

Why do we have CSA renewal so early? Our small farm incurs tens of thousands of dollars in costs each season. We need these upfront dollars to purchase supplies over the winter, cover operating expenses, and start the season in March. As many of you know, the CSA is our only farm income. Your membership provides the funding to continue. Without your commitment to our farm for the next growing season, we would not be able to continue. Your early membership commitment also helps us to plan our planting and harvest schedule.

THANK YOU!! To all of our CSA Members who have renewed for 2026 and joined our CSA Extension. Your support of our small farm means so much to us. We wouldn’t be here without you. This was our 20th growing season, and we look forward to nourishing you in 2026!

Are your friends or co-workers interested? Let them know that now is the time to reserve their share of the bounty for the 2026 growing season.

From the field

The high tunnel construction is now on hold. Joe did manage to get some plots worked and planted with cover crop. We are hoping to get the garlic planted on Thursday. The cold rainy weather has us delayed.

We are beginning our planting plans for next season, making our supply list, and seed list. Each season we review our crops to evaluate what worked and what didn’t. We always look for ways to make improvements in our efficiency for time, labor, and money.

Recipe Inspiration – photos linked to recipes

This week looks like a great stir fry, salads, roasted veggies and soup.

I don’t have the flexibility using the app to list links to recipes so I am putting a list that can help you

Veggie quick tips:

I see salads, stir-fry, and roasted veggies on your table this week.

Bok Choy: soup, salad, or stir-fries

Arugula: salad, on pizza, in pasta dishes, creamed greens, pesto;when adding to a pasta dish this baby arugula is so delicate just add it your warm dish and stir in to wilt.

Cabbages: can peel leaves to use slowly, shredded, roasted, soups, salads, stir-fry;

Radish: use in salad, stirfry or roast; yes you can use an air fryer

Parsley: a great addition to salads, boiled buttered, roasted or skillet fried potatoes

Beets: roasted, boiled, peeled or scrubbed. I love roasted beets, Swedish beet salad, listed in the links above, and Beet burgers

Komatsuna: Asian green, raw or cooked, salad, stir-fry

All recipes from past seasons can be found in the monthly archives. You can also find information in the Vegetable Directory located in the menu under CSA Membership on the website. Additionally, you can use the search feature at the bottom of each page. There is also a CSA Membership Handbook.
