
Roasting Fresh Italian Peppers
Ingredients
- Fresh Italian Roasting Peppers
- oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450℉
- Wash peppers
- Place whole peppers on a baking sheet and coat with a bit of oil
- Roast in a preheated oven for about 20-30 minutes, turning occasionally until peppers are charred and blistered on all sides
- Remove the peppers and transfer to a bowl and cover with a plate to steam
- let them sit for 10-15 minutes to help with peeling
- once peppers are cool enough to touch, peel off the charred skin. Cut open and remove seeds and membrane
- Slice or chop and use in a variety of ways
