Roasted Garlic

Roasting garlic creates a deep, mellow garlic flavor

Ingredients

  • whole heads of garlic
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Cut the top ends of the garlic head off to expose the cloves
  • Place in a foil pouch, drizzle with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste
  • Close the pouch to hold in steam
  • Place in a 390℉ air fryer for 10-15 minutes
  • Carefully open the pouch and test the cloves for softness with a small knife. f cloves are not tender, continue to air-fry and check every 3-5 minutes until the desired tenderness is achieved.
  • Once the cloves are tender and do not resist a small knife inserted into the clove, leave the pouch open and roast for an additional 5-10 minutes. Begin checking after 5 minutes until desired caramelization occurs.
