Harvest possibilities for this week - September 15th - Week #15

The farm makes daily decisions for the share based on weather, harvest, etc.
large share and small share items may differ

Kale - Red Russian, Siberian, Dinosaur (Lacinato)
Bok Choy - Shanghai or Prize Choy
Mustard Greens Mix - Green Wave, Purple Osaka, Ruby Streaks, Mizuna
Turnip- Scarlet Queen or Hakurei Salad
Radish - Pink Beauty, Rudolf
Lettuce - Freckles, Green Leaf, Romaine
Peppers - Bell, Sweet, Frying
Hot Peppers - Hungarian Hot Wax Pepper/ Jalapeno/ Serrano
Potato - Yukon Gold
Collard Greens
Baby Swiss Chard & Beet Greens

Storage & Cooking Tips :

Radish & Turnip – remove roots from greens and store separately.

Kohlrabi – can be eaten raw or cooked, cut into sticks to snack on or add to sautés or roasted veggies. Leaves can also be eaten –  kohlrabi tips here

Mustard Greens – can be eaten raw or cooked

Swiss Chard & Beet Greens – can be eaten raw or cooked

**Greens cook very quickly, don’t over cook add last to just wilt**
