Farm News and Happenings

We had our Organic Inspection this weekend. We are certified organic by NOFA-NY Certified Organic, LLC. During our annual inspection our seed orders, fields, record keeping, and procedures are reviewed for compliance. Do you have a question about what being certified organic means?

Our inspector this year was Paul Porter – Paul and his wife Kendra run a certified organic farm, CSA, and a food truck, Potatoes and Molasses, that serves fresh, wholesome food utilizing produce from their farm.

CSA Extension Share – NOV & DEC –Membership Form

This share is for current CSA members that are looking to continue longer. Extension CSA shares are for 6 weeks – no delivieries Thanksgiving or Christmas week. 10/30-11/17 (3wks) & 11/27-12/15 (3wks) – Membership forms also available at your CSA Pick up

Save the Date

Open House – Saturday, October 14th – 1 – 4 PM

This is our final event at the farm for this season. We invite you to visit the farm and we will prepare some seasonal dishes for you to sample. This is the time to think of joining our CSA for the next season. We offer a 10% discount to members that pay in full with check or cash at or before the open house.

Purchasing with a credit card – Save 7% at our Online Store.

When you join early, this helps us purchase the supplies necessary to get the season started.

ORGANIC FRUIT – for our CSA Members – Offered by Blue Moon Organics – Details HERE – you can order and pick up at their farm or we can deliver with your CSA share for $2 delivery fee.
