Everyone is so excited to get those fresh veggies home! We will continue to add more to this site as the season goes on with more tips and recipes every week. We are always adding new pictures of the season to our gallery. If you ever have a question about a vegetable in your share, please talk to us about it . WEEK #1 -June 6th - June 9th Rhubarb Bok Choy Radish Hakurei Turnip with Greens Lettuce - heads Swiss Chard
Please wash your vegetables at home. We do wash off severe dirt and mud; however, your greens will last much longer not washed. We make daily decisions depending on current harvest conditions at the farm and crop requirements on whether we wash or not.
Please return your “Crop Box” weekly. If you prefer to flatten – we can demonstrate at pick up if you would like. Push straight down on the bottom and it should release. Be mindful of the plastic edges as they can be sharp. Please be sure to flatten with the seam on the flattened part and not the folded end. We wash them weekly here; however, please to not use them for anything other than your veggies. Cats love them….please beware.
