Spring! Spring! Spring!

We think it is finally here!  Busy, busy, busy around here. We have a lot of plants in the seedling house now and are moving plants outdoors during the day to adjust to wind, sun, and outside temperatures.  We are repotting seedlings to larger pots to let them grow bigger while we wait for the temperatures to be warmer out in the field. Joe has been very busy preparing the fields for more direct seeding and transplanting. Hopefully this week we will start transplanting to the fields. First to go out will be the head lettuces, broccoli raab, swiss chard, scallions, and potato. The first plantings of directly seeded baby lettuce mix, baby swiss chard mix, baby beet greens mix, baby kale mix, arugula and mustard greens mix are in the ground.
