We do soak/wash broccoli in water at the farm. However, there are a lot of nooks and crannies – we do not spray pesticides – if you are concerned about visitors in your broccoli -soak broccoli in a brine made of 4 tsp. salt per 1 gallon of water (this is to kill bugs). (1tsp/qt)
